After an assassination attempt, a trade mission to the Eastern city of Pyrlast provides a convenient pretext to leave the city for a while.

When their air-ship goes down in The Godforsaken, Termag’s greatest desert, Bailar stumbles across a clue to a great secret. But uncovering the secret of The Godforsaken is not as important as escaping with their lives.

I’m shooting for a release in the first half of March—sooner, if it happens. Then it’s on to finishing Book 9, releasing Marginalia, and who knows what else?
